The moving crew will disassemble and reassemble beds for your relocation. We may also need to remove table legs and buffet mirrors in order to safely transport these items. Household furniture items we disassemble will be reassembled at delivery.

The dismantling and reassembly of items such as trampolines, gym and swing sets does not form part of our normal service as there is often a need for specialised tools. Your moving consultant will be able to include an option for specialist assembly services within your quotation proposal.

To ensure efficient scheduling for a removalist job, it's advisable to begin early, around 7:00 AM, providing sufficient time for the relocation process. This timing ensures a full day's work for the team and smooth completion of the relocation. Smaller moves can commence in the afternoon with less stuff to shift, making the process simpler. Avoid peak seasons like holidays and weekends to secure removalists at standard rates. Opting for mid-month scheduling can lead to better availability and more affordable options, since demand often surges at the beginning and end of the month.

Typically, the middle of the week is considered the cheapest time to move, as moving companies are less busy and likely to offer discounts at a reasonable price.

Fridays and weekends are usually the busiest in moving industry (and therefore the more expensive) days, as they are more convenient for people.

Prices can also be affected by other factors such as distance, size of the removalist job, holiday weekends and demand.

All goods moved by us are covered by public liability and goods in transit insurance.

We reserve the right to refuse any goods that we deem to be a risk to our staff and property. This includes items which require special handling or storage (for example, toxic chemicals).
